The following selections are available from the Options Menu:
| Menu Selection | Description |
|---|---|
| TextAloud Options | Displays the following options panels: Article Options, Clipboard Options, Predefined Pauses, Skins and Miscellaneous Options. |
| Voices and File Options | Displays the Engines / Voices and File Options panels. |
| Watch Clipboard | Toggles the Windows Clipboard monitoring feature on and off. If this option is disabled, TextAloud will not monitor the Windows Clipboard for changes. |
| Single Article | Places TextAloud in Single-Article Mode. |
| Multi Article | Places TextAloud in Multi-Article Mode. |
| Select Audio Device | This dialog should be not be used if TextAloud is operating normally. NextUp Support may ask you to use the Select Audio Device dialog when TextAloud appears to be having problems accessing your system audio / sound card. |
| Pronunciation Editor | Displays the Basic Pronunciation Editor. If one or more SAPI5 voices are currently loaded, the Advanced Pronunciation Editor is also available on a separate panel. |
| Article Font / Text Size | Displays a dialog allowing article font, text size and colors to be selected. |
| Shortcut Setup | Displays the Shortcut Setup window for assigning keyboard shortcuts to commonly used TextAloud menu entries. |
| HotKey Setup | Displays the HotKey Setup window for assigning system-wide hotkeys used to access TextAloud features from other applications. |
